The 3-1 win at St. James' Park nine days ago was well-deserved and Lead Coach Paul Stephenson is hoping for the same again.

"From the first whistle the lads applied themselves really well and were outstanding at times. Thanks to the senior pros that night too, their attitude was spot on and they were right at it leading by example.

"We were good with and without the ball that night and that was perhaps the major difference from some of the games leading in to that one. So we're looking for the same again on Sunday."

The result put Boro level on points with Newcastle and their visitors to Bishop Auckland this weekend who were beaten 4-0 at home by Fulham in their last game.

"I'm looking for the lads to do the nitty-gritty stuff well, then show their quality when they get the chance."

Kick-off is 1pm, entry is free to Boro Season Card holders, £3 to everyone else and car parking is available on a first come first parked basis.
